How did you meet?

We were in the same first grade class when we met, but we truly became friends and started dating our senior year of high school when we got sat next to each other in chemistry. 

Who made the first move?

Grace

What first attracted you to each other?

Grace: I loved how kind he was to everyone, and his red hair. 

Jake: I loved her bubbly personality, and her contagious laughter.

What is your favorite memory with each other?

Grace: When I finally convinced Jake to get a cat! 

Jake: My favorite memory has to be when I planned our surprise engagement party with all of our friends and family, and seeing the look on Grace's face when she walked through the door.

What is your favorite way of spending time together?

Grace: Traveling together and seeing new places. 

Jake: Movie nights and trying new foods.

How did you get engaged?

We traveled to Holland, Michigan for our summer vacation. During one of the first few nights I decided to take Grace to the lake to watch the sunset over the water and asked her to marry me. 

Why did you decide on a destination wedding?

We love traveling so we might as well travel with all of our favorite people for our special day!
